object.
The management object in management is a subsystem that receives management commands from the subject and functions in accordance with them. Interaction between managers and managed is a necessary condition. It lies in a number of factors.
Communication
Any organization has its own communication system, which ensures the exchange of information. The subject collects, perceives and analyzes information about the activities of the control object and its results. After that, decisions are made, they are converted into signals that determine the further functioning of the controlled subsystem.
The transfer of information from an object to a subject is a feedback relationship. It is expressed in
reports, messages, etc. The process of transferring information from the control subsystem to the managed one is called direct communication. It is expressed in orders, instructions, instructions, commands. Information on both types of communication must be complete and reliable. Only then does management not lose its effectiveness.
Motives and incentives
Important factors in the interaction of subsystems are control levers. Under them, motivation and stimulation are often considered. Do not confuse these two methods. The control object consciously chooses one or another type of activity and fully satisfies its basic needs with it - this is motivation. It is aimed at the process of changing the existing situation. If, as the needs of the control object are met, motivation does not weaken, then it can be considered effective.
Fixes the status quo stimulus. It has a moral, social and economic function. This can be both positive and negative. The control object positions the incentive as an opportunity to receive additional benefits or as their loss.
Motivation and incentive mechanisms must be formed on a situational basis. To do this, there is a large arsenal of various means in the world management practice.
Subject is also the object of control
The control object is often the subject at the same time. Consider such a transformation on the example of an organization. Director, chief engineer, heads of workshops - this is the control subsystem. Specialists, workers - managed. But at the same time, the object of management is both the director and the chief engineer, so in relation to them, the legislative and judicial authorities act as the subject.
For trade enterprises, the managing subsystem is the head of the store, managed - departments, sections. Their leaders are subjects for salespeople, consultants, cashiers.
