American industrial power has many symbolic incarnations. Trademarks from the USA are known all over the world: these are Coca-Cola, Philip Morris, Ford, Boeing and many others, embodying the possibilities of the most powerful economy in the world. One of the symbols of America's productive power is the John Deere tractors with the emblem of a deer rushing in a jump.

And it all began simply. In the state of Illinois, then still, like almost the whole country, mainly agricultural, there lived a blacksmith. He worked hard and communicated with farmers. Their fate was not easy: hard work from morning to evening on the field, imperfect tools that often had to be repaired. Days, weeks, months passed like this, during which the farmers followed the horse-drawn plow. The blacksmith's name was John.

And then one day he came up with the idea that agricultural implements can be improved. In 1837, Mr. Dear created a new type of plow, the material for which was polished steel. The main differences in the further development of thisthe plowman's tools became his sectional assembly, which allows changing the width of the cultivated strip, and the presence of a seat, which greatly facilitated the work.

Things went well, but the former blacksmith from Illinois saw the future in improving the traction for his plows. An independent person by nature, he strove to ensure that his production had a closed cycle. Since 1888, plows have been equipped with driving machines. The first John Deere tractors were steam powered.

At the height of the Great Depression, when all American manufacturers, both industrial and agricultural, were in decline, a new product is introduced to the market. John Deere tractors with a two-cylinder engine of their own production of the 1923 model became a bestseller not only due to their high performance, but also because the marketing activities were carried out flawlessly, and the conditions of sale did not deter farmers even in conditions of low sales of agricultural products.

An important success factor was the willingness to penetrate new growing markets. For the MTS of the nascent Soviet collective farms, mass purchases of equipment were made. John Deere tractors have come in very handy, they combine high quality, trouble-free supply of spare parts and affordable price.

Following the tradition of the founder, John Deere Corporation pursues a bold economic policy, the purpose of which is to promote products on all continents. In the 60s of the XX centuryproduction of engines and tractors is opened in France, Germany, Japan, Argentina. As the conditions for the development of private entrepreneurship emerge in Russia, Domodedovo and Orenburg become the addresses of the new assembly plants of this leading manufacturer of agricultural equipment.

Meanwhile, production is improving. The John Deere - 8430 tractor, manufactured since 2005, has a high degree of automation of various units, including gearboxes and fuel supply systems.
