Lists of privileged professions: why are they needed?

Currently, there is such an abundance of labor speci alties that more than a dozen classifications have long been invented for them. There are types of professions that cannot be distributed on an equal footing with others, they stand apart from the general mass according to one characteristic characteristic only for them.

Preferential professions - what does it mean?

These can be, for example, professions with certain privileges. The generally accepted retirement age in Russia is 55 for women and 60 for men. Privileged professions are those that provide for early retirement of citizens. A person who works in particularly difficult conditions has the right to count on a reduction in service for 5 years and an increased preferential pension in the future.

List of privileged professions

Such a phrase by ear, but not everyone knows what it means. Lists of privileged professions are ordered lists approved by law, which indicate speci alties that allow you to receive designated benefits. The first broad group of people eligible for these benefits includes citizens with difficult and harmful working conditions, working:

• at oil refineriesenterprises;
• in the production of ammunition, electrical devices, etc.;
• in "hot" shops (metallurgy, glass-making, etc.);
• in the nuclear industry.

If a citizen has sufficient work experience in this field of activity, he can retire earlier than expected. Women can leave work at 45 if they have reached a total length of service of 15 years. Men, on the other hand, need to work for a total of 20 years, and then they can retire at 50.

The following group is also included in the lists of privileged professions:

• work underground;
• exploration work;
• open pit mining;
• work in maritime, rail, aviation, urban transport.

To retire earlier than the generally accepted term, women need to work at the above jobs for 10 years, men - 12.5.

With the same experience, they apply for the right to receive a preferential pension:

• pilots, instructors and skydivers;
• firefighters;
• rescue workers.

Also in the category of beneficiaries: ballet, theater, circus and other creative groups. Even in certain cases, employees of the pedagogical sphere enjoy a special position. They are also included in the lists of privileged professions. The main condition for receiving a preferential pension in education is increased psychophysical stress. It is worth mentioning such an extensive area of employment as construction. Brigadiers, engineers, welders, mechanics, electricians can also apply for a preferential pension.
