Closed Joint Stock Company "Mytishchi Instrument-Making Plant" is one of the largest domestic enterprises that produces special vehicles. The customers of the products are the Ministry of Emergency Situations, housing and communal services, geological exploration services, special enterprises, organizations operating in remote regions, in the conditions of the Far North.

Historical background

In 1928, the government ordered the organization of specialized workshops for the repair of complex metal structures. The first site of the newly formed enterprise "Centrospetsstroy" was located in the capital. In 1939, as Moscow grew, production was moved to the city of Mytishchi.

During the war, the repair and mechanical plant carried out defense orders, assembled fuel equipment, and carried out maintenance of tractors, cars, engines. After the improvement of the situation on the fronts, the enterprise was instructed to manufacture complex geophysical equipment. The country was in dire need of resources, especiallyhydrocarbon raw materials and ores of various metals.

In 1949, the RMZ was renamed into "Mytishchi Instrument-Making Plant". It was a structural subdivision of the Soyuzgeoneftepribor trust. Until the mid-1980s, the MPZ had a monopoly in the production of especially complex geodetic instruments, logging and electrical exploration laboratories, and search and reconnaissance stations. Microelectronic components and computer equipment were widely used in products.

According to the laws of the market

After gaining independence, the Mytishchi Instrument-Making Plant was incorporated. The product range has changed. Contrary to fears, the enterprise developed quite dynamically. Since 1997, isothermal bodies have been produced for regions with difficult weather conditions.

In 2000 MPZ entered the top 1000 best Russian manufacturers. After the modernization carried out in 2004, the plant entered the first hundred of the best organizations in the country. Over the next three years, production expanded, advanced design methods were introduced, and a powerful scientific and design school was created. Automotive equipment manufactured at the enterprise is readily purchased by state and commercial organizations. Today the city of Mytishchi is a large industrial center, and the instrument-making plant occupies an important place in the economy of the region.

Design

Initially, special equipment is born on the computers of engineers. Each modification is created from scratch for the needs of specific customers. First, the most detailed 3D model is designed. Then a prototype is made in metal and plastic, which passes a set of tests. Only after that the equipment enters small-scale production.

Five-layer sealed sandwich panels are made from modern materials in the body shop. They become the basic element of a multifunctional body designed for specific tasks.

Production

Daily, new special-purpose vehicles leave the gates of MPZ CJSC. The technical process of their manufacture has been worked out to the smallest detail: from the section of vacuum gluing of panels, blanks on a hoist are fed to the milling section. With a special machine, the panels are processed to the required geometric dimensions, technological holes are cut out.

Further, the parts go to the assembly area, where a durable, strong body is assembled from sandwich panels. Doors, windows, stairs, drawers, partitions (if required) are installed. The last step is equipment and painting.

Features

Mytishchi Instrument-Making Plant produces specialized vehicles of the highest quality. There are very few factories in Russia where they can assemble "homes on wheels" suitable for living and working around the clock under the most extreme weather conditions.

Depending on the characteristics, special equipment can be used to transport food, transport and store various equipment, accommodationpeople in wide temperature ranges: from -50 +50 °С. Used by:

• in the structures of the Ministry of Emergency Situations;

• for maintenance of power lines on extended sections;

Mytishchi Instrument-Making Plant is able to manufacture any type of body and put it on the chassis of any domestic or foreign truck, depending on the wishes of the customer. Released here:

• Auto laboratories: metrological, electrochemical protection, flaw detection, high-voltage testing, communications, telemechanics and others.
• Logging stations, lifts.
• Mobile traffic police stations.
• Auto clubs (show cars).
• Acting, dressing rooms, dressing rooms, propaganda, television complexes.
• Tourist complexes with a compartment for mini-equipment (ATVs, motorcycles, scooters, bicycles, etc.).
• Fire, rescue, washing vehicles, control centers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, communication centers.
• Shift buses, rest points, meals.
• Maintenance workshops,welding complexes, truck cranes.
• Refrigerators, isothermal vans.

MPZ also provides maintenance, repair of manufactured products, manufactures multimeters, power supplies, welding current sources.
