The evolution of the means of lifting from mines and mine shafts originates from the advent of mining as such. One of the main performance characteristics of cargo lifts is the power of the power unit. In the latest modifications, designers use electric motors with a power of up to 5 watts. Asynchronous electric motors are also common, the power potential of which varies on average from 1 to 2 watts. Such power indicators determine the speed modes from 12 to 20 m / s. As for the ability to work with the mass, the mine-type lift is capable of extracting cargo up to 70 tons. There are also models with higher carrying capacities, but these are, as a rule, single units for specialized needs. In this case, the height of the trunk can reach 2 km.
Security systems
Because mining is inherently high-risk, lift manufacturers pay special attention to safety systems. Without fail, modern designs are equipped with brake catchers. Suchdevices are activated in cases of rope breakage. By the way, such risks largely led to the transition to multi-rope cargo lifts. Mine complexes of this type are distinguished by reliability and stability when lifting. As auxiliary safety systems, limit switches are also used, which block the launch of the site if the personnel did not lock the cabin doors and doors. Automated systems also have special modes of operation in case of failure of certain mechanisms and controls.

Today, a cargo lift is the main type of technical tool that allows you to extract minerals from the bowels of the earth. The only alternative to vertical systems are inclined shafts, which transport rock and workers at an angle. Such designs are characterized by higher performance and reliability, but their implementation is not always possible. Therefore, the vertical cargo hoist of the mine type remains the main transportation facility in mining. The efforts of most mining enterprises are aimed at technological improvement of such complexes. The load-bearing components, control posts, and power mechanisms, on which the dynamic qualities of lifts depend, are developing.
