It's hard to imagine a construction site without welding. This technology makes it possible to obtain a high-quality one-piece connection with a minimum investment and in a short time. It is in demand when it is necessary to install and dismantle various metal structures, lay pipelines and perform other types of work, for example, when repairing vehicles. At the same time, in each case, a technology is developed that determines the procedure for forming a welded joint, a list of equipment and materials, as well as the qualifications of workers.

The human factor is important here. Agree that there will be a difference in the quality of the joints formed by 6th and 4th grade welders. In the second case, even when passing through visual inspection, it will be possible to detect defects visible to the naked eye. That is why welding work must be carried out exclusively by qualified personnel who have undergone appropriate training, and therefore have the necessary skills. With this approach, all stages of control will be passed, and the formed connection will withstand for a long timeloads applied to it.

It is worth noting that welding can be of various types. The most widespread, of course, are electric and gas, but if necessary, you can also resort to ultrasonic, laser and cold. With the latter method, welding work is carried out at a temperature below recrystallization. In this case, the connection is formed as a result of deformation of the metal that occurs under mechanical pressure. An example is spot welding. To perform it, you must have special equipment - the so-called "pincers".

Also welding can be performed in different planes and be of different types. The connection, for example, can be butt, point and seam. For each specific case, it is necessary to choose the best option. If welding is carried out over the entire plane of contact, then we are talking about a butt joint, in some places - a spot joint. The latter option is quite often used at the preparatory stage of the formation of the structure. It allows you to ensure the correct relative position of the connected elements. After that, a continuous weld is formed, consisting of overlapping or non-overlapping individual points. In the case of the first execution, a strong and tight connection is obtained.

If we talk about how much welding works cost, no one can give a definite answer. For the formation of metal structures from the same alloys, it is possible touse different electrodes that will be similar in their chemical composition, but will differ in cost. The price per kilogram of such materials often indicates their quality. Using products of only proven and well-known brands, you can perform welding work of any complexity. True, if qualified personnel are involved.
