The engine power of the Armata tank is within one and a half thousand horsepower. Running on diesel fuel, it will generate the current due to the transmission, which is necessary for the operation of electric motors that rotate the tank's tracks. Controlling a smoothbore gun is also much easier - the crew monitors the battlefield in isolation, using the latest optical instruments.
Currently, a team of Ural tank builders has finished testing a new tank, specialists are carrying out final measures to finalize some units and adjust mechanisms. This means that in six months the mass production of the Armata tank will begin, which is designed to take a worthy position among the world's best units of military equipment.
