Cotton down is used as a raw material for products such as wadding, batting, stuffing and absorbent products, various man-made fibers, as well as films, varnishes, explosives and much more. Lint is used in medicine as a material for making fabric for surgical clothing, the peculiarity of which is that on one side its surface is soft and fluffy, while on the other it is smoother and gliding. In cotton processing plants, a complex process of seed linting takes place. Although cotton lint is considered a low-grade material, its production takes place withcompliance with all necessary technical conditions.
