Human life is a gift that cannot be overestimated. Unfortunately, sometimes life-threatening situations arise: natural disasters, fires, accidents, terrorist attacks. And at such moments, you need someone who can help, protect against the threat that has arisen and ensure further security. That is why the world desperately needs one profession - a lifeguard.
People of this speci alty are like ancient titans of stone and steel. They are not afraid of danger, tricks of the weather, and are always ready to sacrifice themselves for the sake of others. Everyone knows about their exploits, accomplishments and merits, but few know how they become rescuers. Therefore, it is worth considering in more detail all the features and secrets that this profession is fraught with - a rescuer of the Ministry of Emergencies.
Who is a lifeguard?
In Soviet times, there was no such speci alty as a rescuer of the Ministry of Emergencies. The liquidation of the consequences of catastrophes and accidents was carried out by ordinary doctors, civil detachments or the same firefighters. Rescuers also existed, but they hadnarrow specialization, for example, a scuba diver or rock climber. But there were obvious problems with universal specialists, whose knowledge and skills covered all areas of this profession.
But over the years, the authorities of the country came to the conclusion that qualified specialists will be able to perform their duty much more efficiently. Therefore, a decree was issued on the creation of specialized brigades of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which included divers, rock climbers, cynologists, doctors and firefighters. And now, in the event of any danger to people's lives, prepared guys come to the scene, capable of coping with any task.
What a good lifeguard should be
A series of events associated with a risk to life - this is what this profession inevitably confronts a person with. The rescuer of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is a person who must be able to suppress his fear and always have a sober head. After all, it is worth giving at least a little slack, and retribution will follow immediately.
Also, all candidates must have excellent he alth and endurance, because physical activity in this matter is the usual norm. Immediately before entering the job, the applicant must pass the standards established by law. And only after that he can be enrolled in qualification courses.
Another important point. The future rescuer must love his job with all his heart, otherwise no salary can keep him in this position. After all, the work of a rescuer is not an easy job, during which you regularly have to deal with human grief, and this is a very heavy burden.
Where the training takes place
Preparatory courses are held in schools with a military department, as well as in military and fire universities. The main condition is the availability of the necessary base for training: a training ground, simulators and qualified teachers.
As the profession description stated by law says, boys and girls between the ages of 18 and 35 can enroll in training courses. Although the advantage is still given to young men who served in the army. As for previous education, there are no special requirements here, the main thing is to have a certificate indicating the completion of 11 classes.
Girls in the ranks of the Ministry of Emergency Situations
It should be noted that this profession is primarily intended for men. The rescuer must have great strength and endurance. However, there is a place for the weaker sex.
First of all, girls are in demand for the position of dispatcher. And although at first glance it may seem that there is nothing complicated in this speci alty, in reality everything is quite the opposite. The dispatcher of the Ministry of Emergency Situations must be able to adequately respond to all calls from the victims, and also know what to advise a person while he is waiting for the arrival of rescuers.
Women are also gladly taken to the economic departments, or they can represent the interests of the Ministry of Emergency Situations at various conferences. But there are also cases when the weaker sex does not lag behind men, working at high altitudes or with scuba gear.
Description of the profession: what is the responsibility of a rescuer
Trouble alwayscomes unexpectedly, and at the same time can have hundreds of different guises. For example, today it may be a huge fire, and tomorrow it will be an earthquake. Therefore, the profession of "rescuer" requires that a person who has mastered it must be ready for anything.
That is why the EMERCOM team is always staffed to the highest standard. There are scuba gear, mountaineering equipment, metal cutting tools, inflatable boats and so on. Moreover, each rescuer must be able to use all these items. To do this, the command regularly conducts exercises so that the fighters not only do not forget their skills, but also improve them.
Given the fact that rescuers often have to literally pull people out of the world, learning the basics of medical care is paramount here. In addition, each brigade has its own paramedic, capable of impeccably fulfilling his duty even in extreme situations.
The situation at the labor exchange
In the modern world, this profession is very relevant. Rescuer - this is the role that many people choose for themselves. Every year, more than one hundred volunteers are recruited into the ranks of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. But not everyone is able to master it, and even more so to associate with it all their lives. And yet lifeguard courses are always open.
As for remuneration, everything is at the proper level, because a person in this profession puts his life on the line. The amount of wages will always depend on the specific region of the country, because in addition to the statutory rate, there is alsoregional allowance, which is decisive in this matter.
You can find rescuer vacancies through the labor exchange or by contacting the personnel department of the Ministry of Emergencies directly. If there are vacancies and the necessary preparation, the candidate will be hired immediately after he passes the medical examination and submits all the necessary documents.
