Before the October Revolution, on the lands of the village of Grayvoron and separate settlements, a whole production was formed for the slaughter of livestock and the sale of meat products. It was in these places that butchers moved, who later, with the support of the Moscow authorities, formed a real meat estate. At the end of the 19th century, merchant shops were replaced with borrowed city funds in the amount of several million rubles. By the beginning of the twentieth century, there were refrigeration plants, access railway lines, water supply for irrigating plots of land.

In Soviet times in the early 30sPeople's Commissar A. I. Mikoyan, together with Soyuzmyas specialists, visited the United States to exchange experience in the meat processing industry.
