Every year more and more enterprises enter the manufacturing market. The main share of food supply in Russia is held by large meat processing plants. From the history of Russian meat processing plants

Privatization, carried out back in the early 90s, covered such large meat processing plants as Cherkizovsky and Mikoyanovsky. Enterprise assets were acquired by private owners. Small plants, due to the lack of third-party investment, were often declared bankrupt or produced products at a loss.

Meat-packing plants in Russia have passed a rather serious stage of modernization since the last century. The process of both production and marketing of final products is developing. The decline in inflation over the years has contributed to the strengthening of the positions of the largest enterprises. In addition, there is an increase in the opening of new meat processing plants, causing demand for meat products among the population.

Despite the fact that the main crisis situations have been forced over the years, significant losses have occurred in the meat processing industry. The position was strengthened only by large meat processing plants, which managed to organize the replacement of obsolete equipment, as well as increase the range of meat products. Meat processing plants in Russia have a very high demand not only among the citizens of their country, but also amongforeign. Each company produces products according to its own recipes and under its own brand in order to attract the attention of the buyer. In the face of fierce competition, there are often cases of struggle for the laurels of the winner in the meat industry. But the main factors that enterprises can miss are the quality of manufactured products and adherence to sanitary norms and rules. Not every plant can adhere to these rules, therefore, only those meat processing plants that honestly fulfill the set requirements can occupy a stable position in the Russian market. The oldest

First, let's look at the Mikoyan Meat Processing Plant, whose history of existence in the field of meat production began at the end of the 18th century. According to historians, slaughterhouses used to be located on the site of the enterprise. Before the October Revolution, on the lands of the village of Grayvoron and separate settlements, a whole production was formed for the slaughter of livestock and the sale of meat products. It was in these places that butchers moved, who later, with the support of the Moscow authorities, formed a real meat estate. At the end of the 19th century, merchant shops were replaced with borrowed city funds in the amount of several million rubles. By the beginning of the twentieth century, there were refrigeration plants, access railway lines, water supply for irrigating plots of land.

In Soviet times in the early 30sPeople's Commissar A. I. Mikoyan, together with Soyuzmyas specialists, visited the United States to exchange experience in the meat processing industry. In the same period, new buildings of the factory for the manufacture of sausages were built. Well-known brands "Tea", "Doctor", made in accordance with GOST, appeared. During the Great Patriotic War, the meat processing plant actively supplied the front with meat products. To provide food for home front workers, new types of products were created. Cash collections were made for the creation of military equipment for the Soviet army. In the 1990s, the Mikoyan Meat Processing Plant received investments for the modernization of equipment from the Exima holding. In the 2000s, a large meat processing plant "Euro EM" was launched with the latest product development technologies.

Meat processing plant from the distant Urals

Ekaterinburg Meat Processing Plant is another oldest enterprise in Russia. The production of meat products has been launched since 1939. The plant took part in the supply of products to the front during the Great Patriotic War.

This enterprise started its meat processing activities in the beginning of 1990. The Malakhovskiy Meat Processing Plant has come a long way from a small slaughterhouse to the largest organization. The main activity of the enterprise is the production of sausages and semi-finished products. Currently, the enterprise uses new equipment supplied both from Russia and from abroad. To maintain the shelf life of the manufactured products, packaging lines in the gaseous environment and vacuum were launched. The daily rate of productivity reaches 60 tons. Sausage brands are developed by Russian specialists in accordance with GOST. The plant also has exclusive developments jointly with colleagues from Austria. The initial raw material consists mainly of beef or pork. The specialists of the enterprise are attentive to the quality of the products produced, the slaughterhouse is given special importance in the preparation of meat.

More than a hundred sausages are produced by this enterprise. The range includes both raw smoked and boiled products. More than 30 types of semi-finished products are produced. Manufacturers have achieved the highest rating thanks toin demand not only in the popular establishments of Moscow, but also in the central regions. The use of a new slaughterhouse makes it possible to refuse from the purchase of frozen raw materials from abroad.
