It is for this reason that a huge part of the owners of suburban real estate are happy to breed this bird. At the same time, it is the duck of the Bashkir breed that is of particular value, since one such individual can bring about hundreds of eggs in two seasons (spring and summer), from which over fifty ducklings can be grown, and each of them will reach a weight of two kilograms by the end of the season.

The occupation of growing the above bird can bring a decent income, especially if there is a pond or artificial reservoir near the country house. If there is no aquatic ecosystem, then the breeding of drakes becomes more costly, and they will need more additional feed.

Bashkir ducks were bred as a result of crossing "Peking" individuals at a breeding plant in the Republic of Bashkortostan. That is why they got such a name. Bashkir drakes are considered an early maturing breed. When growing individuals for meat, poultry acquires value after 1.5 months. After this period of time, the Bashkir ducks begin to shed, and they gain weight no longerso intense. At the same time, experts note that these individuals differ in lean meat.

The newly hatched brood is placed in cages or directly on the floor of a room that is specially equipped for breeding poultry. The air temperature should not be less than 30 degrees Celsius. Once the ducklings are 21 days old, it can be reduced to 16-18 degrees Celsius.

Bashkir ducks are kept in a well-lit room. The litter for young individuals should be deep. Bashkir ducklings should be walked directly to a pond or pond. At the same time, daylight hours for three-week-old pets are reduced to 9-10 hours and this mode is maintained until the brood is 5 months old. Light day increases to 15 hours for Bashkir individuals of ten months of age. For this, as a rule, electric lamps are used (3-4 W per 1 m22).

Bashkir ducks must be kept with a mother hen. She will provide food for the young and protect them in case of danger. However, it is not always possible to find it.

As a result, for example, the Bashkir colored duck is grown with the help of an ordinary chicken. At the same time, the latter knows her duties no worse than the "mother duck".

At the same time, it is necessary to monitor the he alth of the duck, despite the fact that this type of poultry is quite resistant to infectious diseases. Recently, poultry farmers have begun to worry about the "newduck syndrome", which effectively copes with the antibiotic agent "Terramycin". Also, young birds often fall ill with viral hepatitis of the liver, as a result of which most of the birds die.

However, if you can take preventive measures in time, Bashkir ducks will forget about infections and various kinds of ailments, which will allow you to save their population.
