The banknote, the photo of which you can see in our article, is closely connected with the history of our country. One human century, but how much it can change in the life of one state.
What 10 rubles looked like - a banknote from the beginning of the century
The new banknote of Tsarist Russia was issued in 1909. It replaced the old credit notes and was issued until 1919. The state ticket was decorated with the imperial coat of arms of 1883. It was printed on white paper with security marks. During this troubled time, there was a lot of printed money in circulation.
The next sample is 10 rubles - a 1918 banknote. Soviet bonds and the legacy of the Provisional Government - a copy that is very interesting for collectors. The famous chervonets was of a pale red color and with elements in the same tone. In the center is the inscription "Credit note" and the denomination. Below - the signature of the manager Pyatakov. Reverse side in pink tone with pattern oncontour. In the center is the imperial coat of arms in the form of an eagle, but without sovereign regalia.
Banknotes of the post-war period
The new 10 rubles issued in 1947 are also very interesting for bonists. The denomination is horizontally oriented, executed in orange and blue tones. On the front side in the center there is an image of V. I. Lenin. There are also state symbols here, in the form of a crossed hammer and sickle, the denomination is indicated by letters and numbers.
The reverse side of the bill confirms that this is a ticket of the State Bank of the USSR, next to the declared face value. There is a serial number and a warning about criminal liability in case of falsification. At the same time, the banknote indicates that the bank note is backed by gold and precious metals stored in the bank.
There is another banknote issued 10 years later, in 1957. There are slight differences here compared to the 1947 banknote. By this time, the number of republics of the USSR had decreased, so there were also fewer ribbons in the coat of arms.
The described 10 rubles are very much appreciated in the world of collectors.

In the recent history of Russia, the printing of the described banknotes was started and stopped several times. It is interesting that the banknote of 1997, which has a denomination of 10 rubles, was modified several times - in 2001 and in 2004.
On the front side of the boom is a view of the Yenisei, the bridge across it. In the foreground is the Krasnoyarsk chapel, which is a monument of antiquity. At the top there is an embossment of the Bank of Russia and an indication that this is a bank of Russia ticket, and at the bottom there is a warning about criminal liability for falsification. The bill itself is quite embossed, multicolored. Serial number provided.
On the reverse side of the banknote - Krasnoyarsk HPP. There is also information about the year of issue and face value.
The ticket of the Bank of Russia has watermarks, increased relief, microtext and a security thread, as well as multi-colored security fibers, an ornament, a kipp effect under it and a metallic color.
New issues of banknotes have minor changes. So, security threads change in size, additional relief text can be introduced. All modifications of public money, as a rule, have only one goal - to reduce the number of fakes.
