The future professor, doctor of technical sciences, honorary builder of Moscow and honored worker of the Republic of North Ossetia was born on November 3, 1952 in a city called Kirovabad (now Ganja), located on the territory of Azerbaijan. The father of the hero of the article was called Alexander Bekhbudovich, and during his lifetime he was distinguished by colossal physical strength and will. Having been captured by the Germans during the Great Patriotic War, he ultimately refused to move to the United States, where he was actively invited by American soldiers after the end of hostilities.

Early life

After graduating from the university, Sergei's older brother Gevork received state distribution to the city of Kapan (since 1990 renamed Kapan). Here, several nationalities were tightly intertwined, who lived and peacefully coexisted on the territory of the city. In this settlement, Sergei Ambartsumyan received a complete secondary education in a Russian school, which, in terms of the level of training of students, was the strongest in the city. The young man was a diligent schoolboy, also regularly went in for sports and periodically went to various olympiads. Serezha attended the volleyball, football, basketball sections, and a little later, the chess club. It is the passion for this game that he will retain later on for life. And in the 7th grade, the young man firmly decided that when he grows up, he will definitely become a builder in order to benefit his homeland, like his father, who conscientiously worked as a carpenter all his life.

Higher education and first job

Sergey Hambardzumyan remained true to his dream and after graduating from school he became a student at the Yerevan Polytechnic University. It was in this university that he received the coveted diploma of a civil engineer. And he began his career in the "Armtransstroy" trust. As Sergei Aleksandrovich himself later noted, in that team he saw goodprospects initially and fairly quickly became a senior engineer. In addition, he received a distribution for the construction of a railway near Yerevan, where he became a foreman, took on the duties of a superintendent.

Service and personal happiness

Two years after that, Sergei Ambartsumyan was drafted into the Armed Forces of the USSR, where he spent three months as a lieutenant of the construction battalion on the territory and the first block of the Enguri-HPP. After that, he was transferred to the construction of a block of the Smolensk nuclear power plant, where he spent the rest of his service until his transfer to the reserve. There, the young man met his current and only wife, Lydia Kalistratovna.

Having paid his obligatory debt to his homeland, Sergei Aleksandrovich set himself a serious goal - to get a Ph. D. degree, moreover, in Moscow. He sees himself in the graduate school of the Moscow Civil Engineering Institute and in 1981, together with his wife, he moved to Belokamennaya. It is in the capital of the USSR that the couple gives birth to their first child - daughter Irina.

After the successful completion of his postgraduate studies, Sergei receives an offer to work in Lobnya, namely in the head office in charge of monolithic housing construction. But the hero of the article decided to return to Armenia in order to fulfill his promise to his father. There, Ambartsumyan worked as a deputy chief engineer at Armtransstroy, after which he began teaching at the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute as an associate professor.

When in 1988 thea devastating earthquake, it was decided to create an architectural and civil engineering institute, where Sergey Aleksandrovich received the chair of vice-rector.

A sharp turn in life

Sergey Alexandrovich Ambartsumyan (the Monarch concern will appear later in his life) had brilliant prospects in the new place, but as a result of the armed conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh and the economic blockade of Armenia, he was forced to move to Moscow in 1994 with his wife and three children. In the same period, a talented engineer creates his first business project called "ASMI" (architecture, construction, management, art). This organization was a subcontractor with a specialization in monolithic housing construction. Sergey's extensive experience played a decisive role, and his firm doubled the amount of work it did every year.

In 1996, the builder was invited to JSC Mospromstroy, where he managed to implement a colossal project - to reconstruct the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.

Own business

In 1999, Sergei Alexandrovich registered the MonArch and C company and immediately even took on the most complex projects, such as the reconstruction of the large Luzhniki Arena and the upper floors of the Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation.

Such success did not go unnoticed, and the specialist is invited to take the post of vice president of Glavmoststroy. And in 2003, Ambartsumyan Sergey Alexandrovich "Monarkh" asserts already as a concern, which today has become the absolute leader in the individual monolithic construction of houses. Over the past almost two decades, the concern has sold hundreds ofthe largest construction projects, while performing work with high quality and in a short time.

In the period 2003-2007, Sergei Ambartsumyan, for whom "Monarch" remains a favorite thing to this day, works as the first deputy head of the Department of Urban Planning Policy in Moscow.
