Installation, purpose and design of RPSH cables
The RPSH cable, designed to power units with a voltage of 220, 380 and 660 volts, is multi-core, with a rubber insulation layer. The scope of this product is the power supply of electrical appliances and the installation of various electrical equipment. By design, the conductor is quite simple. It consists of three conductive wires, the cross section of which can be from 0.75 to 10 mm2.
Cable cores are round or twisted into one copper wire. The wire insulation is made of rubber or rubber based rubber, while the insulation sheath is made in the form of a hose.
Before installation, the RPSH cable is preheated to a temperature of 10 degrees Celsius. This is necessary in order to solder it or press it with a connecting material.
RPSh cable is not suitable for outdoor installation, as it does not tolerate temperature changes, moisture and open sunlight. Conductors of this type include modifications and can be ordered from the factory in various options, and modificationsof such a cable contribute to an increase in service life, the possibility of working outdoors. Wires of this type are also suitable for connecting low-power and medium-power consumers. For example:

- outdoor luminaires;
- small electric motors and other consumers.
The color of such a cable is usually black, but the wire is allowed to be painted in any of the colors. It should be noted that the primary insulation of conductive cores is painted in green, yellow and red. Also, the wire is quite flexible and can withstand multiple bends (500 or more cycles).

Technical characteristics of the RPSH cable

- Insulation resistance per kilometer is 0.11 Gom.
- Normal operating voltage at which the wire can be operated is 220, 380, 660 volts with a frequency of 50 to 400 Hz.
- The critical voltage for the cable at 50 Hz is 1500 volts
- The weight of the cable may vary depending on the type of execution and the number of cores.
- Possible construction length - not less than 35 meters
- The insulation layer may vary depending on the version, the cross section of the cores and the cable, but according to the standard for a cross section of 10 mm2 the thickness of the surface layer is from 1.5 to 2 mm 2.

Marking and decoding RPS conductor

- R - rubber insulation;
