Qualification is essential in any job. No speci alty is left unattended. For example, even civil service positions are clearly defined. They are clearly spelled out in the law and are divided into groups and categories. So, the categories of positions for the civil service:
- heads of various bodies, for example, state, territorial, executive authorities, etc.;
- assistants and advisers who assist leaders;
- specialists who ensure the implementation of the main functions and tasks of state bodies;

And by groups, positions are divided into higher, main, leading, senior and junior. There are several groups in each category.
But the qualification categories of teachers are distributed in a slightly different way. So, the level is determined by the assignment of a certain category. In order to have the very first category, you need:
- own modern methods and technologies in the field of education, as well as actively apply all skills in practice;
- contribute to improving the quality of the educational process;
- have a stable positive result for students.
Accordingly, to get a lower category, you need to have slightly less skills.
