Bypass valves are devices by which the pressure in the system is maintained at a constant level. Otherwise, they are called overflow valves. Unlike safety valves, liquid or gas is constantly discharged in them. In a safety valve, the pressure in the system is maintained by the periodic removal of gas or liquid. Structurally, those and other devices are no different.
Application
Bypass valves are used in systems that require constant maintenance at a certain level of the internal environment. For example, in a car, they are installed directly next to the fuel pump or are included in its design. The operation of the valve returns excess fuel to the fuel tank, thereby maintaining a constant pressure in the system. The internal combustion engine is equipped with a cooling system, which also has bypass valves, thanks to which coolant is returned from the expansion tank to the cooling radiator. The devices are also used in the circuits of the boiler room, where they maintain a constant flow of the heat source in the circuit.
Benefits
Blow-off valves have a number of advantages:
- simplicity of the device, providing high reliability of the design;
- do not require additional power supplies;
- maintenance free;
- easy to mount anywhere in the system;
- low cost.
Water valves
Various companies offer devices that regulate water pressure before themselves, as well as after themselves, valves that regulate flow, relief, safety and air. In heating systems, they are installed on a direct pipeline. At the moment when the water pressure rises to the valve, it opens, and the flow of water is sent through the branch pipe to the return pipeline. If the pressure level in the direct pipeline drops to the level set on the valve, it closes. Its design allows you to change the pressure settings using a special handwheel. The bellows stem seal is maintenance-free. A water bypass valve is installed in water distribution systems. These devices are characterized by high performance, long life and reliability.
Valves in the compressor
The compressor bypass valve is a critical design element, thanks to which the equipment operates normally and without overload. The efficiency of the unit depends on its tightness, so it must be timely and tightlyclose, have high wear resistance, withstand high temperatures and dynamic loads. There are such types of valves for the compressor:
- Safety valves, which are necessary to ensure the release of excessive pressure in cases where it is above the permissible level. In this case, the device opens, releasing air, and when the pressure drops, it automatically closes.
- Check valves that contain pressure to prevent compressed air from flowing back into the compressor whenever the compressor stops.
- Unloader (bypass) valves reduce the load on the motor shaft at the time of start. Through them, the high-pressure cylinder communicates with the external environment and discharges excess pressure.

In a broad sense, taxes also include duties and fees, that is, obligatory payments by firms and households to the state for granting permits, rights and performing other legally significant actions (for example, licensing, customs, fees, state fees for notarial actions, for consideration of cases in courts, registration of acts of civil status, etc.)

Construction and stop valves: types and purpose
Today, a variety of types of building reinforcement are produced. It can be classified according to the method of manufacture or application, or according to the materials used in the production. Reinforcement, the thickness of which does not exceed 10 mm, is sold in coils. If its diameter in the profile is more than 10 mm, it is cut into bars 6–12 m long
Oxygen-free copper: features, benefits, applications
Copper is a mineral that lives in human life for many millennia. In ancient times, it was used mainly to obtain bronze, in an alloy with tin. In Latin, its name is Cuprum. It was given to him by the ancient island of Cyprus, which was one of the first places where copper was mined and smelted from mines
