Types of gas stations

Gas stations can be divided into groups according to fire safety regulations NPB 111-98.

Traditional stationary gas stations are capital structures with underground tanks located far from fuel dispensers. Place them, design, build and operate in strict accordance with building codes and regulations, fire safety codes and instructions.

Stationary are both block filling stations, in which dispensers are located above an underground tank, and modular, in which containers for storing fuel are spaced apart from dispensers.

Many businesses witha large number of their own vehicles place a fuel station on their territory for their needs.

A mobile gas station is a tanker on a truck chassis with one type of liquid motor fuel.

And the last type of gas station that has recently become widespread is the container gas station.

To install a container gas station, it is not necessary to perform earthworks, arrange complex foundations and fuel drain wells, or install tanks to collect emergency fuel spills. The fuel storage container is made in the form of an all-metal structure, divided into compartments by fireproof partitions.

Fuel dispensers are located in the filling compartment. Separate compartments contain a fuel storage tank and an explosion-proof transfer pump to fill it with fuel.

Technological equipment can be installed on the hatch of the tank, and then on top of the container there is a fenced platform for servicing this equipment. There are design options for fuel filling stations, in which the equipment is located on the side in a special technological compartment.

Another oil giant did not stand aside. OAO Gazprom ordered filling stations for its own vehicles with the possibility of GSM-connection of the dispenser with the operator.

Fuel storage containers are equipped with tanks of various capacities and different types: one-, two-, three- orfour-section. Fuel dispensers can also vary by type.

Double-walled tanks are used at filling stations, in which the inter-wall space is filled with antifreeze or gas according to fire safety requirements, and a leak control sensor must be installed.

Technological equipment includes not only pipes through which the tank is filled with fuel, and fuel delivery pipes, measuring pipes and hatches, upper level sensors, but also fire arresters, shut-off and breathing valves. The tank and pipes are made of high-quality steel, if necessary, frost-resistant or stainless, with a thickness of 2 mm or more.

Single-wall tank with spill tray can be used if a containerized gas station is located outside of the community.

Fuel dispensers can be either single-arm, for example "Topaz-511", or two-gun, and even three-arm.

For example, for OAO Gazprom, the gas station was equipped with an additional dispenser for two types of fuel in case of failure of the main three-arm one.

Optional equipment

Autonomous systems for various purposes can be installed as additional equipment in container filling stations.

Without the participation of the operator and the presence of external control systems, an autonomous fuel filling system is installed at the filling station. A microcomputer, a proxy-card reader (personal magnetic cards with information about the limit of dispensed fuel) and a keyboard are installed on eachfuel dispenser, and it works autonomously. At the same time, the dispenser can be either single-arm or designed for several types of fuel.

The central computer at the head office processes the information coming from individual speakers using a GSM connection.

Fuel can be dispensed autonomously through terminals, which must be installed at a distance of at least three meters from the gas station. Terminals can be both common for bank plastic cards, and for limit cards for own use, for example, by a company.

Additionally, at the request of the customer, fire extinguishing systems and level control systems in tanks are installed at container filling stations. For example, the Gazprom Neft container filling station is equipped with a Buran fire extinguishing system and a PMP level gauge from the Sensor company. The level gauge allows you to measure the level of liquid in the tank, its temperature, density and volume.

Gas stations for one of the largest domestic oil companies were manufactured by several manufacturers according to approximately one project. The whole network of gas filling stations is designed to be used as full-fledged mobile filling stations in the Far North and Western Siberia.

Fuel dispensers and tanks allow storing and dispensing three types of fuel: diesel fuel, gasoline AI-80 and AI-92 at temperature fluctuations from -60 to +40 °C.

Modern automatic systems monitor the filling of the tank, the status of stored fuels and their release.

KAZS are equipped with two two-sleeve fuel dispensers connected to the remote control via RS-485 interface.

Factors affecting the price of gas station

The manufacturer cannot pre-calculate the cost of each individual gas station. Prices for container filling stations depend on many factors, and today the market fluctuates from 160,000 to 4.5 million rubles.

The main factor is the number of tanks and their volume. A tank with a volume of one cubic meter is designed for one type of fuel, and a volume of 40 cubic meters. m - by three.

The next factor is the accuracy of the fuel accounting system and its automation. A cash register, a computer, special software, modern means of communication with the central office can be installed at the gas station at the request of the customer and, of course, affect the price.

Not all customers equip their filling stations with a separate control room (operator room). And this is a separate container, and it affects the price very noticeably.

The price of gas filling stations of different climatic modifications differs. Not only are special frost-resistant steels used to make the tank, fuel heating systems are often installed in pipelines.

The configuration also affects the price of gas stations. Fuel dispensers may vary in design, type, installation method and manufacturer.

Pump power,the presence of a level gauge of one design or another, components - these points are also important and have an impact on the price.

Price, no doubt, is an important argument in choosing a gas station. But you still need to choose it according to the quality of components and materials. These factors are much more important for the safe and long-term operation of a container filling station.
