Minsk Tractor Plant has been a leader in the production of agricultural machinery for a long time. Design Features

The presented tractor belongs to the fifth traction class and is on a par with such eminent representatives of agricultural machinery as Terrion ATM 5280 or K-700. The wheel formula of the machine is 4 x 4. The engine is a modernized German-made diesel power plant under the index BF06M1013FC.

The MTZ-3022 tractor differs from other products of the tractor-building machine-building industry by the presence of control posts. They, in turn, consist of a duplicate control structure for the clutch, brake system and fuel supply mechanism. The structure also included an additional steering column and a swivel seat. All this assumed and determined the ability of the tractor to work in reverse mode for a long time.

MTZ-3022 model can work on soils with different bearing capacity, thanks to a wide range of wheel ballasting (you can install special ballast or fill tires with liquid), as well as the ability to mount wheels of different sizes.

Engine

This series of tractors has an improved diesel power plant of the German company Deutz under the index BF06M1013FC. In Russia, this engine is better known as the S40E 8, 7 LTA M146 with a turbocharger and a power of 300 horsepower.

The power plant is a 4-stroke with a horizontal arrangement of six working cylinders, liquid cooling and direct injection system. Such a unit is installed in many types of equipment. In MTZ-3022, the engine has certain technical characteristics given in the article.

The power plant provides the tractor with a speed of 40 km/h when moving forward and 20 km/h in reverse. Separately, it is worth highlighting its design features:

1. Casting headcylinder block and crankcase made of ductile iron.
2. Availability of an injector pump for each cylinder.
3. Forged crankshaft with counterweights.
4. Full flow oil filter in cartridge form.
5. Bi-metal camshaft bearings.

The generator of the power plant generates electricity 12V, 24W. The unit is started by means of an electric starter 12 V / 24 W. Engine power is enough for its use in tracked and drilling equipment. The motor is also installed in excavators, loaders, combines.

Hydraulic system

To control the shifting working equipment, the tractor is equipped with a hydraulic system based on a Bosch-Rexroth axial plunger pump. It is universal, control is carried out using a joystick. The hydraulic mechanism provides power, positional, as well as mixed control over the technology of processing the earth's surface.

A hydraulic mechanism installed on the MTZ-3022 has a 4-section type distributor. It has an electro-hydraulic control system equipped with a programming function, as well as a RLL and RLL control regulator. The structure of the named system includes 4 pairs of conclusions, which are supplemented by the function of controlling the fluid supply.

Modifications

The MTZ-3022 tractor has many modified models. However, among their total number, two main series can be distinguished - MTZ-3022V and MTZ-3022DC.1. Firstpractically indistinguishable from the original machine. But this tractor is equipped with a reversible steering station, which is very useful for long operations.

Modification of MTZ-3022 DC.1. Neither in appearance nor in the engine does it differ from the standard model either. But it implements the possibility of doubling the wheels to increase the cross-country ability of the car. This model of agricultural machinery is especially in demand in regions where waterlogged and weakly bearing soils predominate.

In general, the MTZ-3022 tractor is a functional model that has a number of advantages over its competitors. The closest analogue of the described technique is the MTZ-3022DV model, on which a particularly powerful engine is installed. Among foreign representatives of the tractor industry, the John Deere model has similar characteristics.
