Today, helping a person who needs it is the holy mission of each of us. In our country there is a huge number of disabled people, the elderly, seriously ill people who have no one to rely on in principle. And in this regard, Russian charitable foundations are specially created to solve this problem. They seek and collect money to provide specific targeted assistance. But the above organizations do this exclusively on a gratuitous basis, because the meaning of charity is to selflessly help the suffering. However, not everyone understands the true meaning of the word "charity". Fraudulent structures have appeared on the market, which, under a plausible pretext, simply profit from ordinary people, who are often ready to give their last to help a person. And, as evidenced by the reviews, one of the representatives of such "unscrupulous" organizations is the Aureya Charitable Foundation.
His business reputation has been seriously tarnished, and for good reason.
What is this structure?
It is known that the Aureya Charitable Foundation (head office) is located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, where it is registered. This non-profit structure began its activity in 2006. Aureya positions itself as a charitable company and comes up with pathetic slogans: “We want to change the world! Our goal is to help everyone in need! The priority in our work is children in need!” Well, who is against such good goals and undertakings?
Fact is there
But it is embarrassing that the Aureya Charitable Foundation is officially established in the Krasnoyarsk region, provides assistance to disabled people from St. Petersburg, and collects funds in Saratov.
Today, working activists of the fund can be found in various geographical locations in Russia. Of course, the law does not prohibit registering a company in one region and working in another. But for this it is necessary to follow the procedure - to open an official representative office and register it with the appropriate authority. It is precisely here that the Aureya Charitable Foundation violates legal norms, since it does not open legal branches in the regions.
The capital of the SFD
Not so long ago, activists of a charitable organization appeared in Rostov-on-Don. Young boys and girls, dressed over their clothes in yellow capes and "armed" with small boxes for money, chatted with passers-by and asked them not to stay.indifferent to those who need help. But, as it turned out, in practice it is quite difficult to find out whether the money will go to a good cause or whether it will end up in the pockets of dishonest businessmen.
Check
Naturally, the activists of the organization quickly came to the attention of the local press.
It was joined by law enforcement officers and volunteers of the discussion political club "Glavpolit". All of them were interested in the question: “Does the Aureya Charitable Foundation (Rostov-on-Don) operate legally?” An audit was carried out, and it turned out that the young employees of the non-profit organization had not reached the age of majority, which in itself is a violation of the Labor Code. Moreover, for their work they received 20% of the funds raised, and their “bosses” immediately warned that they should call themselves volunteers and tell others that they were working for free.
The office, which was filmed by Aureya in the capital of the Southern Federal District, also raised many questions. Its premises very vaguely resembled a branch of a charitable organization: in the corner a bunch of boxes were piled up, where money was accumulated, and in public. In "normal" funds, the money is held for collection, the finances in the boxes are considered in the presence of the commission, and then they are transferred to the fund's cash desk. But in Aureya, no one was going to follow the accounting procedures.
All violations were reported to the prosecutor's office, which began a thorough checkthe above charitable foundation.
City on the Neva
The appearance of activists from a non-profit structure in the northern capital also caused a public outcry. There was even organized a round table "Problems of combating fraud in the field of charity." It was initiated by the Good Peter Foundation. Its representatives made a report, which reported on the results of the activities of the fraudulent structure. On the Internet portal "Aurei" in the column "Reports" you can see the information that the action is over, more than 900 thousand rubles were collected. However, who was specifically involved in raising funds, for what purposes they were spent, which medical institutions and who were treated - is not indicated.
"Aureya" - a charitable foundation (St. Petersburg) has also become an object of attention from law enforcement agencies.
In the head office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the city on the Neva, they are seriously concerned that scammers use the labor of minors for their own selfish purposes. Representatives of the law enforcement agencies wrote a letter to the mayor's office so that officials would get involved in the problem.
Ural
The fact that "Aureya" is a charitable foundation, in which fraud flourishes every day, was learned by "sharks of the pen" from Yekaterinburg. To bring the criminals to clean water, they conducted their own independent investigation. They found out that almost three-quarters of the collected funds are spent by the fund's management on taxes, salaries of employees (of course, not ordinary ones). But the Yekaterinburg Internet resource managed to find outthe true meaning of the work of "Aurea". After reading a tempting advertisement of the fund, mothers and fathers of seriously ill children begin to collect a certain package of documents for scammers, which contains contact information, the patient's diagnosis and related medical documents. Then the parents wait for the promised money. Indeed, in some cases they are waiting for them, the long-awaited operation is being done.
But the bottom line is different: scammers continue to collect money for a child who has already been helped.
Penza
Penza has also heard a lot about the methods used by "Aureya" - a charitable foundation. Reviews about this non-profit structure are mostly impartial and negative. Employees of a fraudulent organization have been working in this hilly city for more than a year, and they have already covered almost all areas. At first, the residents were sympathetic to the work of young activists (what could be nobler than helping seriously ill children). But after some time, the public began to have doubts about whether the activists were really doing a good deed. Does the Aureya Charitable Foundation (Penza) work legally? Oleg Sharipkov (executive director of the regional public charitable foundation "Civil Union") was one of the first to ask these questions. He learned that the organization, registered in a small town in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, has no official representation in his native Penza.
To everyonework work…
Besides this, Oleg was confused by another fact, which was already mentioned above. Why does the employer represented by Aureya hire people who are under 18 years old? No charitable foundations in Russia use this practice, which is a priori illegal.
Sharipkov is also embarrassed by the fact that his unfortunate "colleagues" in every way avoid communication with media representatives and literally shy away from video cameras. This behavior seems strange to say the least. What are you hiding and what are you afraid of if you are doing a good deed? On the contrary, the activist must be visible in order to attract maximum attention to the mission he is performing. And yet, one young man working at Aurea revealed some secrets about his work. In particular, he stated that he was paid money at the end of each shift, which lasted 3-4 hours. An activist earns about 250-300 rubles a day. If we take only one Penza, then about 30 volunteers work in the city.
Rhetorical question
Despite all the problems of the situation, it turned out that in exceptional cases the Aureya Charitable Foundation really helps people. In particular, children suffering from epilepsy and cerebral palsy received financial assistance for treatment. And even when one of the boys urgently needed a wheelchair, it was purchased by Aurea activists. This means that the leadership of this charitable foundation still has a drop of conscience left. But this does not relieve him of all responsibility. Only smallSome of the money raised goes to good causes. Where are the rest spent? It's easy enough to guess.
