When the words "work in the Far North" seem hard work on a rotational basis away from home and family. This is associated with mines, and is compensated for by getting high wages. With unemployment and crisis, the latter is key.

Persons who do not have he alth contraindications are accepted for the shift method to perform work duties in conditions of pressure drops, high humidity, low temperatures and a small number of daylight hours per year.

Of course, work in the north for women is not as highly paid as for men, but their wages are an order of magnitude higher than in the middle lane. This is due to compensation and government benefits. Conscientious employers comply with all the requirements that are imposed on them at the legislative level. Women, according to Art. 320 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, working in the harsh conditions of the north, can work no more than 36 hours a week. But at the same time, wages should be at the same level as with a full working week. If a woman works more than this norm, then the performance of such work will be considered overtime and must be paid in accordance with applicable law. Such a condition must be stipulated in the employment contract. If there are children under the age of 16, the mother is provided with an additional unpaidday off once a month. Unused extra days will not be reimbursed later. Women who have small children cannot be fired when layoffs.

Watch work in the north for women at the legislative level has restrictions. This is stipulated in the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. In the conditions of the north, women do not have the right to work:

- under 18 years of age;

- having medical contraindications for he alth reasons;

- pregnant;

- raising a child under 3 years old.
