Company "Smolevichi Broiler" was founded in 1978 and is one of the few private broiler poultry farms in Belarus. The company is owned by Evgeny Baskin. “Petrukha” (trademark) is the leader in the production of poultry meat in the Belarusian market. Included in the top 10 producing countries in the CIS.

Poultry farm "Friendship"

Prospects for development

Poultry farming is a very dynamically developing industry. With the transition of poultry farming to an industrial basis, its role in world agriculture has changed significantly. Now the production, sale and consumption of poultry meat in the world is growing at a very fast pace.

The market of the Republic of Belarus is simply oversaturated with poultry products, although the country is the leader in the consumption of poultry meat among the CIS countries. In conditionsIn such fierce competition, poultry farms in Belarus have to constantly look for new ways not so much to increase the pace of production, but in search of new markets.

I am glad that both private and state-owned enterprises of the Republic of Belarus do not put the quality of products in favor of their quantity. It is unlikely that the country will ever catch up with the world's main producers of poultry meat: the USA, China, Brazil. But to reduce the pace of production means to stop development.
