A well-plowed land is the key to a high yield. Therefore, only high-quality equipment should be used for processing fields. First of all, this concerns, of course, plows. There are currently only three varieties of them: rotary, single-hull and reversible. The latter type allows you to cultivate the soil with maximum efficiency, and therefore is used most often.

General Description

The reversible plow of this variety differs from other models primarily in the presence of double mirror shares. When processing fields, one of them is located directly in the soil, and the second is on top of it. After turning the tractor, the shares are hydraulically swapped. The result is very smooth plowing without furrows or ridges. With a conventional plow with a single share, this cannot be achieved. In this case, when plowing from the center of the field, double ridges appear between the strips, and when working from the edge, double furrows appear. It is possible to plow the land using a reversible plow at a speed of up to 6-9 km/h.

The advantages of such equipment as a reversible plow also include the fact that plowing with its use can be done at an accelerated pace. Turning a tractor with a working body of this type by 180 degrees is carried out easily and without any shocks. This is achieved due to the presence of two telescopic cylinders in the plow design. This equipment is also reliably protected from all sorts of breakdowns. It is absolutely impossible to damage the hydraulic hoses, for example, as they are covered with a special canvas sleeve.

The reversible plow is attached to the tractor itself at three points. This ensures maximum structural rigidity. Therefore, the plow goes very smoothly. At the same time, work can be carried out with maximum maneuverability. The benefits of a reversible plow also include:

• convenient adjustment of all components and mechanisms;

• high degree of wear resistance of working mechanisms.

Design features

Reversible mounted plows consist of the following units and mechanisms:

• symmetrical rigid frame;
• turning device, which includes a gear sector, a spur gear andhydraulic cylinder;
• disk cases, each with a sharp-edged scraper in front of them;
• safety device that provides deepening of the working bodies when encountering obstacles;
• hydraulics and support wheels.

The width of the plow of this type on each body can be set in four positions - 33, 38, 44, 50 cm. When using 5-9 bodies, thus, the width of the plowed strip at a time can reach 5-9 meters.

Types of reversible plows

Equipment of this type can differ in frame cross section and power. When buying, first of all, you should decide on the number of working buildings. A reversible plow is selected depending on which tractor it is supposed to be used on. For low-power equipment, models consisting of 2-4 cases are more suitable. For large tractors, equipment made up of 10-12 is usually used. Modern agricultural producers most often use three-case equipment of this type. Such plows can be hung, for example, on the MTZ 80/82, MTZ 100/102 or YuMZ-82 tractors. In general, recycling equipment is allowed to be used for equipment with a capacity of 80 to 200 l / s.

Like conventional plows, reversible plows are most often used for plowing large areas. In this case, their use makes it possible to increase the profitability of production due to the speed and quality of the work performed. It is easy to penetrate into well-plowed flat groundair, moisture and trace elements when fertilizing.

The most popular 3-furrow reversible plow can be used in fields that are not too clogged with thick plant roots and stones. It is advisable to tillage with the use of such models where the plowing depth should be approximately 20-27 cm.
