Egypt, at one of the most important stages of its development, stumbled over the foot of yesterday's partners, who actively began to sponsor and support the anarchist rebels. And the competitive economy began to fade away.

What is the currency in Egypt?

Today Egypt needs foreign money more than ever. But already democratic states will begin to allocate them only as part of humanitarian assistance. Now the Egyptians should cool their ardor, forget past revolutionary grievances and begin to renew their own financial system. One of the main elements of the financial system of this North African state is also the national currency. Egypt issues a monetary unit called the Egyptian pound. It is indicated on the foreign exchange market by the banking code EGP and has the code of the international organization for standardization ISO 4217. The pound, in turn, is a bargaining unit and is divided into 100 piastres. Although this state has experienced a sufficient number of internal shocks, the exchange rate of the national currency has not fallen very much during this difficult period. Thus, the currency of Egypt to the rublecorresponds in the proportion of 1 to 4.75 RUB. This testifies to the consciousness of the country's population and the possibility of a speedy recovery of the state's economy from the revolutionary intoxication. And these signals are also positive for the Russians, who, like no one else, loved to buy tickets to Egypt and admire the pyramids and other no less famous sights of this beautiful country all autumn.
