But the most dangerous is the defeat of grapes, on which the parasite can multiply from the moment of their ovary to ripening. The brush is powdered with a greasy gray coating, the berries are first covered with specks, wrinkled and dry.

If the berries are in the ripening stage, then wet rotting appears. The skin on the grapes cracks and the seeds protrude. There are few sugars in the berries, ripening does not occur. With a strong defeat by oidium, the grapes are unsuitable for consumption. Another fungus is gray mold, but it affects only berries, which is typical for this grape disease. Measures to combat fungal diseases

Oidium - a formidable disease of grapes. Treatment of landings at the first sign can begin with the use of colloidal sulfur. It is poorly soluble in water, so they practice spraying the drug in the morning in calm, warm weather after the green part of the vine has dried. Sulfur is mixed with well-sifted wood ash in a ratio of 3:1. At the first manifestations of oidium, spraying with a solution of potassium permanganate of a slightly pink color, a solution of baking soda is used.with a concentration of 0.5%. But if this grape disease is already rampant, treatment without fungicides is unlikely to be successful.

For use in amateur vineyards and orchards to combat fungal diseases, such preparations with a fungicidal component as Albit, Abiga-peak, Planriz, Integral are allowed. The treatment of grapes from diseases with these means is carried out during the growing season and must be carried out strictly according to the instructions. The most effective drug "Integral" - a single spraying of the vineyard is enough, and with other means it is necessary to carry out from 5 to 8 treatments.
