A plastic window is a rather complex structure, which includes many components: a PVC profile, a double-glazed window with seals, fittings, slopes, a window sill and a low tide.

Each component, in turn, consists of several smaller parts, and needs periodic maintenance.

Maintenance of plastic windows can be done by yourself, but it is better to entrust this matter to a specialist, because not only service life and appearance, but also ease of use and reliability of the structure as a whole depend on this.

For example, in case of mechanical damage to a double-glazed window, when the glass cracked or broke altogether. In old wooden windows, glass was mounted to the frame, and it was not difficult to replace it yourself - it was enough to purchase new glass of the right size and fix it with glazing beads in place of the old one. In PVC windows, if a crack has formed on one outer or inner glass, the entire double-glazed window will have to be replaced, since this is a one-piece hermetic structure. Each double-glazed window is made according to individual sizes, and one cannot do without the services of specialists who will make accurate measurements. It will take some more time to manufacture a new double-glazed window under special conditions, but the master will need to replace it on the strengthfifteen minutes.
