From the earliest times, man needed fuel for heating, cooking, making tools and hunting. When there is a forest nearby, then there are no problems. The desert is a different matter. Here, dry dwarf shrubs or dried animal manure are used as fuel. Today, the main energy resources of the world are coal, oil and gas. In Europe, more and more often prefer to use pellets, briquettes. Eurowood is another name for this product.
Briquette and pellet manufacturers
The most promising producer of eurofirewood is Russia, as it has been rich in endless forest resources for centuries. Russia produces eurofirewood mainly for export: it has enough oil and gas to meet the needs of the country. For example, in Europe, whose states have been importers of Russian fuel for many years, they use eurofirewood, the price of which is much lower. They are considered the cheapest type of heating products.
This type of fuel is currently very common in European countries for space heating using special boilers. If aInitially, such boilers were used exclusively for industrial purposes, heating factories, factories and the like, but now ordinary citizens use this method. They heat private residential buildings using eurofirewood for this. Consumer reviews indicate that this type of fuel is easy to ignite, thanks to a special hole that is made inside the log.
Varieties of firewood
There is a certain classification of eurofirewood: pellets, briquettes. It defines the type of product by its technical characteristics. In this regard, firewood falls under a certain European standard. Some types of pellets are only suitable for industrial use. They are coarser, made from different types of wood, and have different combustion properties. Others, in the production of which one type of tree is used, most often conifers, are used for heating the private sector. The material and manufacturing process of future products are determined by the European standard, which include the following parameters:
- size;
- combustion;
- humidity
- ash content.
And therefore, each of the self-respecting manufacturers is obliged to strictly observe the technological process, so that subsequently its products can be certified and exported to different countries without any problems. All of Europe buys eurofirewood: reviews about their use are only positive. Their low cost and excellent heat transfer are especially noted.
Euro firewood prices
It is very convenient to use pellets or eurobriquettes. They are transported in special large bags. Pellet combustion takes place in boilers using special bunkers from which they automatically come. Thus, the boiler is able to work for several days.
Eurowood, the price of which is quite low, has adequately taken its place in the global biofuel market:
- average cost of 1 tonne of softwood euro briquette is 4500 rubles;
- 1 ton of euro firewood from a mixture of coniferous species and birch costs 4,900 rubles.
Many of the consumers who use eurofirewood for heating their homes leave only positive reviews: after combustion, there is practically no ash left in the boilers. It must be remembered that one ton of euro briquettes replaces five cubic meters of ordinary firewood, burns much longer and gives more heat to the room.
Production process
Production of euro firewood includes several stages. First, it is necessary to grind large parts of wood waste: a special chipper is responsible for this. Further along the conveyor, the raw materials are moved to a certain place and stored there. Then there is further grinding to a certain fraction and placement in bunkers by a loader. There are three such bunkers in total. One of them is designed for non-standard sizes of raw materials, the other is filled with a mass, which is subsequently sent to the heat generator, the third is for wood chips. After the material passes through the vibrating sieve and sent to the dryer drum, where it acquiresthe degree of humidity is not more than 12%. The drum is equipped with a powerful heat generator. High-quality dried raw materials are crushed by a hammer-type crusher.
Briquetting and packaging
After that, the material is transported to the briquette. The briquette is a powerful press, which can be of different types: screw, hydraulic or mechanical. Screw is used extremely rarely, since it is very difficult to adapt it to an automatic process. After pressing, the briquettes undergo a cooling procedure. The cooling line in production reaches 30 meters in length. Further, the cooled briquettes are cut with a special automatic saw, which has ultra-high precision. The packaging machine completes the process.
Production is based on the conveyor-automatic principle, providing technology with high productivity. This technology is very practical and economical, helping to conserve natural resources. Since one ton of eurowood is equal to two tons of ordinary wood, the savings are obvious when burning. Numerous companies are engaged in the production of equipment for the production of a variety of biofuels, such as briquettes and pellets, against the backdrop of a common perspective.
Organization costs
The key pieces of equipment are:
- 1000kg per hour crusher;
- pyrolysis oven;
- pressing machine producing 210kg per hour;
- dryerwith a capacity of 600 kg per hour;
- conveyor units;
- high precision saw;
- packing machine.
The total contribution to the equipment is 890,000 rubles. Each company that is just starting its business will easily recoup its costs in a short time when investing in eurofirewood. Biofuel production equipment costs within the following limits:
- crusher – 160,000 rubles;
- dryer – 250,000 rubles;
- pressing unit - 250,000 rubles;
- pyrolysis oven - 230,000 rubles.
Eurodrova, reviews of which are very positive, are very popular with Russian consumers. Many residents of private houses and dachas have long switched to biofuel, thereby saving money on heating during harsh winters.
Consumers are pleased with the possibility of storing eurofirewood indoors, as they do not have impurities, odors and are an environmentally friendly product. No smoke, long burning, strong heat dissipation, easy storage and, most importantly, low price are the main advantages of this product.
