Born on January 6, 1961 in Aleksandrovsk-Sakhalinsky, a small town in the Sakhalin Region on the western coast of Sakhalin Island. But how can you show that you can't do something? As a result, Anya spent two days throwing concrete with a shovel. But on the third day I could not take a shovel - my hands cramped. In the remaining days, I had to serve the construction business in the form of a load for a vibrating screed that levels the concrete road.
Career start: NPO Vympel
After graduating from the university, Anna Belova came to work at NPO Vympel. Here she went from an ordinary engineer to a chief specialist in foreign economics. In the same period, after graduating from the institute, Anna entered the graduate school of the Research Institute of Radio Instrumentation, which she graduated in 1989.
In the late 80s, she creates and leads a movement called the Scientific and Technical Creativity of Youth at the Research Institute of Radio Instrumentation. On duty, Anna Grigorievna worked closely with Booz Allen & Hamilton - this organization will become the next career milestone on her journey.
In parallel with this project, Anna Grigoryevna, together with Dmitry Borisovich Zimin, participated in the creation of the Vympel-Communications organization. These were the first steps in the cellular communication market of the now well-known Beeline brand.("Vympelcom").
Despite the rapid development of the mobile telephony market subsequently, at the dawn of the nineties, the prospects for this industry were vague. Equipment and tariffs cost fabulous money, the country was in a difficult economic situation and few people believed in a quick start of this business.

In 1993, Anna Belova received a job offer from a large American company Booz Allen & Hamilton and faced a difficult choice - to accept the offer of a large American company (the third consulting group in the world) or to continue the development of cellular telephony. Anna Grigoryevna chose Booz Allen & Hamilton and never regretted it.
Anna Belova worked at Booz Allen & Hamilton for 5 years - she was the head of the Moscow office of the company and was responsible for business development in Russia and the CIS.
Anna Grigoryevna recalls how difficult it was for a person with a Russian mentality to work in a Western company. But thanks to this circumstance, Anna Belova was able to cultivate the best features in herself - the principles of organizing herself, work, time, relationships with people. Western formalism, excessive pedantry, the primacy of form over content, work above any personal circumstances - for a person from the Soviet Union, this was at least unusual. Nevertheless, after 5 years of successful and fruitful work, Anna Grigoryevna leaves the organization, as she does not share the strategic plans of the company's management for business development in Russia.
After leaving BAH, Anna Grigoryevna worked for 8 months at Unicon, where she successfully implemented two major projects.
Ministry of Railways and a career in Russian Railways
In 2000, a new milestone in career development begins - Anna Belova begins her work at the Ministry of Railways on a program to reform the railways. The task is very ambitious, especially considering that the previous version of the program was rejected, and a period of six months was given to develop a new one! And this deadline was met thanks to Belova's idea: first of all, those measures with which everyone agreed were singled out, thanks to this, positions were consolidated.
The railway transport reform program was approved, a reform headquarters was formed a little later.
Anna Grigoryevna became the first high-ranking female leader (in the position of Deputy Minister) in this industry in the entire 150-year history. With her arrival, the very tone of holding conference calls has changed. Male colleagues stopped swearing on the air.

Further career
In 2003, Anna Grigoryevna took the post of Vice President of Russian Railways for Corporate Development. In the period from 2005 to 2007, Anna Grigorievna served as an adviser to the head of the Federal Atomic Energy Agency. In parallel with this, Belova is the first deputy general director of OAO Techsnabexport.
From 2007 to 2013, Anna continues her career at the Siberian Coal Energy Company.
