Reliability, durability and strength of roads to a large extent depend on the quality construction of the road surface. To facilitate this process, a special technique is used.
To compact, level, compact soil or gravel, asph alt or concrete in foundations, as well as road structures, a road roller is used. The scope of use of special construction equipment is quite extensive - it is industrial, hydraulic, road, urban, railway, airfield construction.

To perform some types of work, a vibratory road roller is used, capable of periodically vibrating the working bodies. Such a machine is equipped with a hydrostatic transmission, hydraulic control is carried out using an electrical system.
For the full operation of the vibration functions, the mechanism of the so-called crab move is used.
Road rollers are endowed with excellent performance, they are reliable in operation. It should be noted that the own weight of the unit has a certain value when exposed to the compacted material. In a number of special construction equipment, there are combined road rollers with compacting bodies, which are typical for devices of various types.
Among roller road rollers, which are hinged shoes on the rim of the drum, there are plate, cam, ribbed and lattice types.
For lattice roller road rollers, the working surface of the drum rim is characteristic in the form of a lattice, and in cam rollers, several rows of cams are rigidly fixed on the drum rim.
Asph alt laying, road construction work is carried out mainly on the latest foreign equipment.
