He is considered a real workaholic, as he devotes maximum time to work. This quality helped him to become one of the most authoritative persons in domestic trade. And in the past he is a mass entertainer, the head of an advertising agency, an aircraft builder, a retailer, and an international specialist. And in all these areas of activity, Lev Khasis succeeded. The banking sector, in which he was offered a job, also eventually became a native businessman. What was his path to the Olympus of entrepreneurship, and what career heights did he achieve? Let's take a closer look at this issue.

Years of childhood and youth

Khasis Lev Aronovich is a native of the city of Samara. He was born into a Jewish family. The parents of the future entrepreneur worked at a local aircraft factory. But the profession of a businessman in the family was perceived negatively, so the boy from a young age dreamed that he would manufacture aircraft.

Naturally, having received a matriculation certificate, Lev Khasis began to prepare for admission to the Kuibyshev Aviation Institute (KuAI), the Faculty of Aircraft Engineering. He successfully passed the entrance exams and became a student of the specified university.

However, within the walls of the institute, he showed interest not only in engineering, but also in organizing entertainment events. Lev Khasis prepared KVN, "Student Spring", moving columns from place to place and buying the necessary props in stores. When he takes leadership positions in large enterprises, he will actively sponsor the local KVN team Samara Plane.

Start in employment

Studying in the last year of the institute, Lev Khasis was already the head of the international relations department of KuAI. His duties were to interest foreign applicants on a paid basis to go to study at the Kuibyshev Aviation Institute. And soon the young man opened two advertising agencies on an equal footing: Vekt and InterVolga.

According to unofficial data, the young man's father-in-law Vyacheslav Burakov, who was the owner of the printing house, provided assistance in organizing the advertising business.

In the late 1980s, the young man receives the coveted diploma. However, Khasis Lev Aronovich goes headlong into the advertising business for a couple of years. During this period, he heads the commercial structure of Samara Trading House JSC.

In 1993, a KuAI graduate went to work at AvtoVAZbank, and after some time he was appointed the arbitration manager of a large enterprise, Aviakor Corporation OJSC. Already in 1996, he turned from an "outside observer" into the president of this commercialstructures. And the situation in Aviakor was critical: the plant's products were not in demand on the market, there were huge wage arrears, and in order to pay off the workers, a number of non-core subsidiaries had to be created: Aviakor-stroitel, Aviakor-mebel and so on.

But even in this way it was not possible to fully repay the debt in a short time.

Help came from outside

The situation straightened out in the late 1990s, when big tycoon Oleg Deripaska invested in the Samara region. He bought the business from Khasis, and he was offered the position of vice president of SibAla. However, Lev Aronovich preferred the role of a "free artist". A businessman changes one position after another: a member of the advisory council under the chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, the head of the executive body of TsUM Trading House JSC, a representative of the law firm of Mikhail Barshchevsky…

Retailing

The turning point in the career of a KuAI graduate occurred in 2002, when Khasis Lev Aronovich, whose biography is of interest to a huge number of entrepreneurs, receives an offer to become the head of the board of directors of the Trade House Perekrestok. Such a gift was presented to him by his old friends from Alfa Group. The businessman immediately realized that retailing would bring good profit: a buyer from the “middle class” category appeared not only in megacities, but also in the periphery.

In 2006, two large retail chains merged,such as "Crossroads" and "Pyaterochka". As a result, a large structure 5 Retail Group was formed, and Lev Aronovich took the post of chief executive officer in it. In this capacity, he will work until 2011.

Khasis showed his best business skills while working at X5. He came up with corporate orders, an anthem and other components of the culture of the "labor collective". However, despite the scale of the company's activities, the X5 manager failed to beat the Magnit retail chain in terms of development rates. As a result, in 2011, Mikhail Fridman decided to renew the management staff, and Lev Aronovich left the trading network.

So, for the graduate, the question of what to do next has become relevant again. And soon he receives a tempting offer from German Gref, who headed almost the country's main credit institution.

The banking sector could be a great career continuation. And Khasis Lev Aronovich understood this very well. Sberbank has already loomed on the horizon, and now it has a chance to build a career that is just as good.

And again the trading network

American retailer Wal-Mart Stores, which has conquered international markets, offered Khasis the position of senior vice president of international operations. His workplace was in the state of Arkansas (Bentonville), and he, without thinking twice, agreed. However, despite all the power and authority of the American trading network, it was not possible to absorb any of the domestic competitors due totheir absence. The graduate of KuAI won great prestige from the leadership of Wal-Mart Stores. It could be assumed that Lev Khasis would cooperate with the Americans for a long time. Anniversary (50 years) became a memorable event for a businessman. He received congratulations from "Chief" Doug MacMillan himself, who spoke highly of his work.

However, he nevertheless decided to try himself in the banking sector and in the fall of 2013 he became the first deputy head of the board of Sberbank.

Family

Lev Aronovich, like no one else, is happy in his personal life, although he did not meet his real companion right away. Twice the businessman tied the knot. His first chosen one was Natalya Barshchevskaya, the daughter of a famous lawyer. Khasis Lev Aronovich, whose wife was from a we althy family, was happy when Natalia bore him two sons - Alexander and Leonid. However, in the middle of the 2000s, the family idyll came to an end, and the marriage union broke up.

In 2009, he proposed his hand and heart to a young girl named Olga. The wedding ceremony was lavish, pompous.

Today, a businessman tries to devote as much time as possible to his family and communication with children.
