Shawarma, as a fast food dish, is very popular not only in seaside resort towns. It has gained popularity wherever you can eat inexpensively and practically on the go, without wasting time sitting in a cafe. What is shawarma?

Advantages of gas appliances
Gas shawarma machines are equipped with a cylinder of liquefied gas, that is, much cheaper fuel than electricity. In addition, gas appliances warm up much faster than electric ones. Such a machine can be up and running in minutes.
There are models that are completely autonomous, in which only gas is used to maintain the fire in the burners. As a rule, they are cheap, but they are able to work with 10 kg of meat on a skewer that is mechanically rotated, and the seller himself can monitor the uniform roasting and the formation of a crisp on the meat.
The rotation of the knife allows the meat to be fried evenly, but the intensity of the burner ensures the speed of cooking. One of the advantages of a gas appliance is the ability to easily adjust the intensity of the burner, as in a home gas stove, by turning the gas cock.
Disadvantages of gas appliances

If the design of the device has an electric drive for rotating the skewer, then it will still have to be connected to the mains. In addition, gas in cylinders has a very unpleasant feature - it runs out at the most inopportune moment, which means it is advisable to always have a spare cylinder and carefully monitor fuel consumption.
Attention is required both for the valves on the cylinder and the pipes supplying gas to the burners.

Ease of service and cleaning are very important in the process of cooking any food, including shawarma, especially in mobile street outlets. Therefore, a very important characteristic of the device is the material of the case. Food-grade stainless steel and glass-ceramic, in addition to being resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage, are easy to clean from contamination.

The price of a gas shawarma machine (electric, however, too) depends on the number of burners. The variation in prices for devices depends on the choice of manufacturer.
There are devices of European, Chinese and Russian manufacturers on the market. The most expensive are European, the cheapest are Chinese. High-quality and reliable devices from Europe practically do not differ from Russian ones in terms of technical characteristics. Chinese analogues cannot boast of high reliability and quality of warranty service, even if it exists.
Russian products are manufactured at certified enterprises, with a good combination of price and quality and a guarantee period of up to ten years.
Today, the price of a gas shawarma machine can vary from nine thousand for the simplest models with a small load to more than one hundred and eighty thousand rubles per hundred kg of meat.
The Turkish manufacturer Pimak is known on the Russian market. His gas appliances cost about 15,000 rubles for one burner, 19,000 rubles for two burners, and 25,000 rubles for three.
