Beginning of development

Let's now plunge into the history of one of the best jewelry factories in Russia.

Allbegan April 6, 1993. Then the creation of a jewelry enterprise with a full production cycle started in the capital. Why "Adamas"? The translation of the word from Greek is "indestructible", "solid".

On May 15 of the same year, the installation of the first of the workshops - chain knitting began. I must say that the most advanced Italian equipment was specially prepared and installed for him with the direct support of specialists from this country.

On August 12, 1993, the first gold chain under the new Russian jewelry trademark was already released. It was a product of the 585th sample with a single weave of gold wire with a diameter of 0.35 mm. The chain was decorated with two diamond facets.

On September 2 of the same year, the first retail outlet for the sale of "Adamas" jewelry was opened. It happened in the legendary GUM on the main square of the country.

In May 1994, the first Adamas store opens in the resort town of Sochi. And it is from this moment that the formation of the federal retail network of the company begins. Now it includes about two and a half hundred stores.

Further production development

In 1997, the plant continued to expand. A new production line was built for the manufacture of jewelry using the microcasting technique. And in fact, this was the launch of another plant with a full production cycle.

The first products were laconic gold jewelry "Signs of the Zodiac" without inserts ofprecious stones. And, for example, today "Adamas" presents more than 600 articles of only jewelry with diamond inserts, inclusions made of natural stones - precious and semi-precious.

In the same 1997, "Adamas" was called the best jewelry company in the vastness of the Russian Federation. And the very next year, as you remember, Russia was shocked by a default. Company "Adamas" then was 5 years old. Many young domestic enterprises did not survive this difficult economic test, the largest in the entire post-Soviet history.

For "Adamas" the same default has become a kind of test of strength. He strengthened his position in the market. A big lead over competitors has become noticeable.

In January 2001, a small-scale production "Jewelry Masters" was opened. It is here that all the company's exclusive projects are made.

In 2007, the Moscow jewelry factory opens its branch in the Urals - this is "Adamas. Ural Jewelry Factory". It produces jewelry under the brand name ARTIGIANO.
