Before the developers from Boeing, in the process of creating the aircraft, very difficult tasks were set. The first company to purchase a Boeing 737 300 Winglet was SouthWest AirLines, and the first aircraft of this type with its logo on the body took off as early as November 1984.

As noted earlier, this aircraft model is based on the Boeing 737 200 Advanced. At the same time, it differs from its predecessor in several respects at once:

• fuselage length increased by 2.64m;
• wing span increased;

• it is now possible to install a satellite GPS navigator.

As a result, the Boeing 737 300 turned out to be safer than the aircraft models previously developed by Boeing. Thanks to the GPS-navigator, this airliner was able to make automatic landings even in rather difficult weather conditions.

Boeing 737 300 has good technical performance even with the condition that it was developed almost 30 years ago. If necessary, this aircraft is capable of developing a fairly high speed equal to 945 km / h. At the same time, its cruising speed is 910 km / h. It is equipped with 2 CFM International CFM56-3C1 turbofan engines. The airliner is capable of flying to a distance of no more than 4,670 km. As for the maximum height, for this aircraft it is at the level of 10,200 m. In the event that the liner does not carry any additional cargo, including passengers and crew members, its weight is 32,460 kg. At the same time, it is able to take off even if its mass is increased to 62,820 kg. The length of the aircraft is 33.4 m. The wingspan is 28.88 m. The height is 11.13 m. Thanks to these indicators, the Boeing 737 300 is rightfully considered one of the highest quality aircraft today. Most often it is used for passenger flights over medium distances.

The salon has a good design. The developers have provided a fairly spacious passage between the seats, as a result of which neither passengers nor flight attendants experience difficulties in the process of moving around the aircraft cabin.

Boeing 737 300 is very popular among airlines. It can be found at airports in South and North America, Europe, and Asia. The project turned out to be really successful, and Boeing decided to make it the ancestor for a whole family of aircraft. Models 737-400, 737-600, 737-500, 737-700 and 737-800 were developed on the basis of this aircraft. At the same time, he himself is used to this day, as he is trusted by both the airlines themselves and passengers.
