What is ASC?

ASC - an institution that automatically selects postal messages by index (DTI). Distributes letters in those points where they accumulate a considerable number. An ordinary person, an individual will not be the sender of a letter marked ASC.

• Moscow. It is not located in the capital itself. Opened for a long time - back in 2009. Exact address: Moscow region, Podolsky district, Lvovsky settlement, st. Magistralnaya, 7. The geography of this organization is central Russia. And this is about 5200 post offices.
• St. Petersburg. This ASC serves about 1,700 branches of the Russian Post. They are located in St. Petersburg itself, as well as in the Novgorod, Leningrad and Pskov regions.

Having already figured out what ASC is, we will not be surprised that today we can quickly find out the addressee of a letter marked with such an abbreviation. And without even opening the envelope!

It is enough to perform several actions:

• Find a combination of 14 numbers under the top barcode of the letter. This is the so-called track number.
• Now you need to open the official website of the Russian Post on your computer or smartphone.
• Go to the section for tracking parcels and letters by track number.
• In the appropriate field, enter the found combination of 14 characters.
• Now click on Enter - you will see information about the received letter, including data about its sender. That's it!

But answering a letter marked "ASC-DTI" would be a pointless exercise - it is unlikely to reach the addressee. Through processing inonly those messages that involve one-way communication, for example, notices, informational messages, pass through the auto-sorting postal complex.
