He served as a secret adviser, was the Minister of Education, the father of 5 official children, the ancestor of the illegitimate branch of the Perovskys.
Family
The family of the founders of the "Perovsky Estate" gave the world many significant leaders - Nikolai Perovsky, Alexei Perovsky, who was also called Anthony Pogorelsky (this was the author's pseudonym of the Russian writer).
Alexey Perovsky is the uncle of A. K. Tolstoy and the Zhemchuzhnikov brothers. The nephews of this man gained great fame thanks to the creation of Kozma Prutkov. In addition, Lev Perovsky was the Minister of Internal Affairs under the Emperor, he ruled the Imperial Cabinet.
About the farm
In 1834 Perovsky planted grapes in the Belbek valley. And already in 1846, Perovsky's wine "Hungarian" was in the spotlight at the state exhibition.
In the 80s of the century before last, the Primorskoye estate(as the Perovsky estate used to be called) turned out to be in the possession of V. S. Perovskaya. She became the mother of Sofia Perovskaya, an activist of the revolutionary terrorist organization Narodnaya Volya. Varvara Stepanovna built a new house on the territory of the future Perovsky estate. It is he who is currently the central structure of the estate. In 1889, the entire property was sold to the wine merchant Fyodor Stahl. He erected new vineyards here and built a house with large wine cellars.
At that time, because of one story with wine from the Perovskaya estate, it began to be called "Alkadar". Once tasting a local product, Stahl exclaimed in Arabic: "alk dar" - this translates as "divine command." In 1905, the Government Gazette announced that the wines presented by the Stahls at exhibitions were awarded international medals. Already after the revolution - in 1920 - the Alkadar state farm became one of the first in Ukraine. In 1927, it began to be named after Sophia Perovskaya. To this day, Riesling Alkadar wine is stored in the wine cellar of the estate - harvests of 1929 and 1946. In addition, the Perovsky Manor Cabernet variety has always been famous.

Varvara Stepanovna, who built the central house here, was the daughter-in-law of the head of the administration of the Taurida province. The history of the estate is kept in 8 halls. Even before its final opening, the museum became richer than the folk museum in terms of the number and uniqueness of its exhibits.

The farm has also opened a number of branded stores.
Regularly, the farm releases new products for sale - for example, not so long ago, dry white wine Sauvignon appeared on the shelves. It is made from white grapes that come from the south of France. It has been cultivated there since time immemorial, itis the basis of the famous wines of the Sauternes region. The wine has sweet, floral notes on the palate.
