Dynamics of changes in wages in the Republic of Belarus
The average wage in the Republic of Belarus is calculated by the National Statistical Committee on the recommendations of the International Labor Organization. The data is determined for a monthly period. In addition, information is classified according to the areas of activity of the economy according to the National Classifier of the Republic of BelarusOKRB-2006 "Activities of the economic sphere". It is important to note that Belarusian specialists use the arithmetic mean method to determine specific figures. This means that when calculating the amount for a monthly period, the volume of the fund is divided by the number of employees who carry out their activities for the benefit of the country's economy.
Thus, when analyzing the last three years, a trend towards an increase in the average indicator is revealed: in 2014, 536 rubles were determined in January, which is the smallest indicator in terms of monthly calculation, and 685 rubles. - in December (the largest figure); in 2015, such indicators as 606 and 747 rubles are presented, respectively. Already in 2016: 659 rubles. - accrued average wages of employees of the Republic of Belarus for January, and 752 - for August, which is the largest figure.

According to the data of the National Statistical Committee, the average salary in Belarus in September 2016 amounted to 732.9 rubles, which indicates a decrease in the figure by 17.4 rubles compared to August. It is important to note that before the average fell in April. The presented figure equates to $377 at the weighted average rate of the National Bank (in August, this figure turned out to be $6 more).
But the average wage of workers in the Republic of Belarus in September stopped at 734.8 rubles (17 rubles less than inAugust). It should be noted that it was in January that the figure that determines the average value of social earnings fell significantly (to 662 rubles), after which a gradual rise was noticed, however, as noted above, September was again characterized by a fall in this indicator.
Average wages in Belarus by industry
It is important to note that today the highest level is achieved by wages in the areas related to computers, air transport, the production of coke and petroleum products, as well as the extraction of minerals for fuel and energy purposes. But the lowest indicators characterize the sphere of education and, of course, the implementation of social services.
Naturally, the average salary of workers in the Republic of Belarus differs depending on the region. It's no secret that the traditional leader in this regard is Minsk, followed by regional cities, and then other settlements. However, the reduction of wages in the province at the official level has never been fixed. On the contrary, there are always various kinds of allowances and benefits for workers in rural areas. In addition, this provision is also active for those employed in the real sector of the economy, but it is rarely used.
