A depot is a special structure in which a wagon, locomotive or trolleybus is settled, serviced and repaired. Let's take a closer look at each of them.

Trolleybus

Not only in megacities there is a trolleybus, but also in regional centers. Why is it more classified as a rolling stock, despite the fact that it rides on rubber wheels on asph alt? Because it receives power to the engine through the contact network. A trolleybus is an electric vehicle.

Wagon depots belong to the Russian Railways (RZD). There are both passenger and cargo. These are separate businesses. The passenger depot does not serve freight cars and vice versa.

Locomotive
