The correct arrangement of the chicken coop requires the mandatory presence of nests, perches, drinkers, feeders and baths. Nests should be located in a shaded place and arranged in such a way that the owner has access to inspect them, clean them and remove eggs.

For this purpose, with the help of boards, a small enclosure should be fenced off in the corner and a layer of fine, preferably river sand, 9-12 cm high, should be poured into it. It is also desirable to add wood ash and sulfur. You can install a trough in the chicken coop, up to one meter long and 15-20 cm high for ash baths. Sand is poured into the prepared container (dry road dust in summer) and ash in equal proportions. The device of such baths helps to clean the feathers and skin of the bird, and also to get rid of parasites.

The chicken coop is impossible without a feeder, which is made in the form of a trough. Feeders made of tesa or galvanized iron are used to accommodate wet mashers, they are easier to clean and disinfect. For feeding 20 hens, feeders with a length of 110 and a width of 25 cm are suitable. To prevent contamination, a turntable from a bar should be installed on top of the brackets or a handle should be nailed. Dry foodit is more convenient to feed in automatic feeders, according to the daily rate.
