Weight and dimensions of a trailer for a single-axle APM walk-behind tractor
This trolley is designed to carry goods weighing up to 250 kg. Also, the model has the following technical characteristics:

- track - 870 mm;
- dimensions - 150 x 72 x 96 cm.
The weight of this trailer is 56 kg. If necessary, the model can be disassembled.
Two-axle trailers
Compared to single axle models, these carts are usually designed to carry heavier loads. The design of trailers of this type is a frame with two axles attached to it.
The Krasny Oktyabr plant, among other things, also produces such carts. A feature of the design of two-axle APM for Neva walk-behind tractors is that they are also supplied with an adapter.
Technical characteristics of APM "Neva"
This cart costs more than a single-axle APM, but it can also be used to transport heavier loads. The maximum weight of materials that can be placed on it is 500 kg.

The maximum travel speed of a two-axle APM trailer is 12 km/h.
The dimensions of the factory trailer for the APM walk-behind tractor are quite large. One of the features of the model is that its length can be adjusted from 190 cm to 250 cm. The width of the trailer is 41.5 cm, the height of its sides is 110 cm.
Trailed two-wheel carts
Such trailers are used with walk-behind tractors without adapters. When choosing a model of this variety, you need to pay attention to suchan indicator like her height. In this regard, a trailer should be selected in accordance with the technical characteristics of the walk-behind tractor.
In addition to the Krasny Oktyabr plant, VRMZ also manufactures such carts in our country. The seat on the trailer model produced by this company is attached directly to the frame of the front side of the body.

- ground clearance - 30cm;
- track size - 117 cm;
- weight - 95 kg.
The dimensions of this trailer are as follows - 178 x 75 cm. That is, for example, for the MTZ walk-behind tractor, the VRMZ trailer can fit very well in size.
The principle of operation of carts
Depending on the size of the trailer for a walk-behind tractor, it is possible to transport loads of different volumes and weights on it. The larger the model, the less it will subsequently have to make a walker when transporting materials. That is, the most convenient to use, of course, are large trailers. However, such trolleys are, of course, not suitable for all models of mini-tractors.
Practically all domestic trailers for walk-behind tractors are delivered to the market unassembled. But it will not be difficult to assemble such a device yourself. Trailers are attached to the gearbox of the mini-tractor.
The principle of operation of such attachments is extremely simple. If necessary, plywood or tin is laid on the supporting axles of the trolley. Next, the cargo is placed in the body. The owner controls the walk-behind tractor in the processtransportation, sitting on the seat.
Can I make my own
The design of trailers for walk-behind tractors is extremely simple. Therefore, if desired, such a device can be made, of course, with your own hands. The dimensions of a home-made trailer for a walk-behind tractor will not be difficult to choose in strict accordance with the characteristics of the mini-tractor itself.
You can make a cart using, among other things, simply scrap materials. These can be, for example, old springs and wheels, steel pipes, channel bars.
The frame of a homemade trolley in this case is welded in the form of a lattice. Next, two longitudinal pipes are attached to it and the strapping is assembled from above. The body is made of steel sheets by welding. The beam is made of two channels, inserting them into each other. Langerons in the manufacture of such a trolley are connected using springs, the end of which is put on the axle of the earrings and beams. The drawbar is made from pipes.
To make a trailer for a walk-behind tractor, you can simply take the finished bridge from the car. But such a cart will most likely look too bulky.
