The history of the plant began with the order of the Gorky regional office "Soyuzmoloko" dated September 29, 1933. At this Kirov enterprise, they launched the production of various products from yogurt (kefir, milk, jelly, ice cream, sour cream). With each year of development of KMK, production volumes expanded, which gave impetus to increase the range.
In the 1950s, the supply of dairy products exceeded supply. In connection with this fact, namely in 1957, they decided to build an additional building for a dairy plant.
