The technical proposal, a sample of which will be presented in the article, is a set of design documentation containing updated justifications (including feasibility studies) of the feasibility of developing documents for the product. It is developed if the corresponding condition is provided for in the terms of reference.

Foundation

When developing a commercial and technical proposal, the results are taken into account:

  • Analysis of the customer's terms of reference and various options for its possible execution.
  • Comparative evaluation of alternative solutions, taking into account the operational, design features of the product.

Documentation may draw on other studies.

Destination

The essence of the technical proposal is to identify clarified / additional requirements for a specific product that are not specified in the terms of reference. These can be quality, technical characteristics, etc.

Basis fordetermining the list of activities carried out at the stage of drawing up a technical proposal - terms of reference. Developers determine the work depending on the purpose and specifics of the respective product.

Structure features

The technical proposal includes the design documentation provided for by the terms of reference, in accordance with GOST 2.102-68.

When compiling electronic materials, the level of detail of the structure and model of the product should correspond to the development stage.

Design documentation intended for the manufacture of layouts in accordance with GOST 2.002-72 are not included in the technical proposal. It is allowed to attach electronic layouts of possible variants of the product or its parts in accordance with GOST 2.052-2006.

The form of providing documentation (paper/electronic) is determined by the developer in agreement with the customer, if it is not defined in the terms of reference. Types of materials are determined according to GOST 2.102-68. The technical proposal may contain documents in different forms.

General Requirements

If you analyze any example of a technical proposal, you can see that in it information of a small amount, related to the options for the object being developed, is usually drawn up in a table. This is one of the first requirements for documentation content.

Large texts, including information related to different options, are divided into subsections and sections.

A section can be placed at the end of the document eitherAppendix. It summarizes data for all options in the form of text or a table.

In diagrams, drawings, images related to different layouts can be placed both on one and on different sheets.

The list of structural elements of several options is drawn up in the form of one table, which provides their comparative characteristics, or in separate tables.

General drawing

The technical proposal must contain a general view of the product or an electronic model equivalent to it. In this case, the drawing must contain:

  • Images of several product options, captions and text part. They are necessary to compare models, determine the requirements for objects and form an idea about the main and layout designs, the features of the interaction of elements, the principle of operation.
  • Names, designations (if any) of components for which you need to specify specifications and other information, or the record of which serves to explain the images.
  • Description of the principle of operation, indication of composition, etc.
  • Dimensions and other data applied to the image.
  • Technical characteristics of the object. They are indicated if necessary for the convenience of comparing options according to the general drawing. In this case, the characteristics are not given in the explanatory note, but instead a link to the diagram is indicated.

Vedomosti

This document includes all design materials according to the rules enshrined in GOST 2.106-96, regardless of which product variant they refer to.

The "Note" column can indicate the scheme to which the design document corresponds.

Materials can be presented in different forms. In the "Note" column, in this case, the corresponding type of documents should be indicated.

Explanatory note

It is formed in the order established in GOST 2.106-96. In this case, certain requirements for sections should be taken into account:

  • "Introduction" - here the name, date of approval and number of terms of reference are indicated.
  • "Purpose, scope of the product" - this section should contain information from the task, as well as data that supplement and specify them. This, in particular, is about a brief description of the scope and conditions of use of the product, a general description of the object for which it is intended.
  • "Technical specification" - here indicate the power, energy or fuel consumption, performance, efficiency and other parameters provided for in the terms of reference, and additional parameters. The same section contains data on deviations (with justification) or compliance with the requirements. In addition, here are the results of a comparison of the main parameters of the product with the indicators of analogues (both foreign and domestic production) orindicate a link to the map of quality and technical level.

Description, design justification

This section of the Explanatory Note states:

  • Characteristics and rationale for the expediency of bringing product options. If necessary, an illustration or a link to electronic models is given.
  • Information about the purpose of electronic or material layouts (if they were made).
  • Information about the program and methodology of analysis or testing, their results, data on assessing the conformity of layouts with requirements, including technical aesthetics and ergonomics.
  • Photos of layouts (if necessary).
  • Information on checking product options for patent purity, competitiveness.
  • Designations of key design documents, in accordance with which the production of material layouts was carried out, dates and numbers of reports / protocols compiled on the basis of test results.
  • Information about the use in the development of inventions, about applications filed for new inventions.
  • Data on the compliance of product variants with industrial hygiene and safety requirements.
  • Disposal information.
  • Details of the environmental impact level of the product.

Extra

The Explanatory Note also contains sections:

  • "Calculations". They are necessary to confirm the reliability, performancedesigns. Indicative indicators are defined in this section.
  • "Work using the product". This section contains information about organizing activities at the site where the product is used. For example, this could be data on the expected qualifications and number of service workers.
  • "Expected indicators". Here are approximate calculations of economic efficiency from the introduction of this product into production. At the same time, the means of information and software of automation systems are indicated if they were used when performing calculations.
  • "Level of unification and standardization". Here are preliminary data on the unified and standard assembly units used in the development.

Additional requirements are indicated at the end of the Explanatory Note.
