If you are looking for a strong and durable material that can be used in construction, formwork, parks and playgrounds, then laminated plywood is for you. This material is made from the veneer of various trees. As a rule, birch, poplar, coniferous plants or a mixture of different species are used. Its main quality is amazing moisture resistance and durability.
Depending on the purpose for which this material is made, it can be from 3 to 40 mm in thickness. The production of laminated plywood consists in connecting sheets of veneer to each other using a special adhesive that is resistant to temperature changes and various atmospheric influences. After this process is completed, the sheets are pressed and then cut to the desired size.
The penultimate stage of processing is grinding, with the help of which the laminated plywood is leveled and at the end glued with a special film on both sides. It is thanks to this treatment that the material becomes moisture resistant, resistant to various aggressive media and mechanical damage. By the way,for pasting, not an ordinary film is used, but a special paper impregnated with phenolic resin.
But without the final painting of the ends of the plywood sheets, all the work may be useless. Only thanks to this, the seams become protected no worse than the main surface, which allows them to be used in any conditions. They are usually treated with acrylic based paint.
Due to its qualities, moisture-resistant laminated plywood is used not only in outdoor work to create playgrounds or formwork for concrete structures. Often it is used for lining vans, creating flooring in car bodies or partitions in temporary builders' houses. Often you can also see interior elements in modern houses from it. Pleasant appearance and the possibility of choosing a color (it depends only on the film with which its surface is pasted over) make it possible to use this material for the manufacture of cabinets, hanging shelves, cabinets, racks.
But most often laminated plywood is used for formwork when creating monolithic building structures. The combination of lightness, strength and wear resistance allows the same sheets to be used about 20 times, while the floors and wall surfaces will be excellent. To increase the life of the sheets, they are treated with a special compound that prevents concrete from sticking to them. After solidification of the monolith, the plywood structure is disassembled quite easily. By the way, the installation of thisThe material is quite simple - it can be attached to any base using self-tapping screws.
Depending on the wishes of customers, laminated plywood can be produced with a smooth or rough (mesh) surface. The latter option becomes in demand in cases where it is necessary to obtain a non-slip coating. For example, in the manufacture of floors in public transport, flooring on construction sites or truck bodies, plywood mesh is preferred.

Robotization of production in the world: scope, examples, pros and cons
Improving, humanity is constantly facilitating its work, shifting it to artificial intelligence. Robotization of production made it possible to get rid of a number of professions, for example, telephone service today is carried out only by electronics, although at the beginning of the last century, female telephone operators connected two subscribers. Today, progress has stepped even further, and people have begun to create real artificial machines capable of performing certain mechanical operations - robots
Laminated plastics: properties and applications
Special composite materials are used in the insulation systems of complex devices and structures that are subject to increased operational requirements. As a rule, these are not universal, but highly specialized products, oriented to work in extreme thermal and humidity conditions. Such insulators include the following laminated plastics: getinaks, textolite, fiberglass, as well as their modifications
Production of plywood: technology, main stages of the process and areas of application of the material
Plywood is one of the cheapest and most practical building materials. Despite the multi-layer structure, it is easy to install and can be processed at home without special equipment. Standard production of plywood involves the use of wood lamellas, with proper processing of which you can get a finishing material that is resistant to a variety of threats
Laminated plywood for formwork: interesting information for the consumer
In modern construction, laminated plywood for formwork has been actively used. It is suitable for the construction of various types of foundations. Its service life is quite high, since the surface is protected from moisture by a special coating. The highest quality products are able to withstand up to 50 cycles of use without significant deformation changes
